How well do you know the Cook County Forest Preserves? With nearly 80,000 acres of land, the Preserves (CCFP) are truly a great environmental, recreational and educational resource for our region. This workshop, or mini-charrette, will provide an overview of the Forest Preserves history and resources, as well as opportunity for architects, landscape architects, and planners to provide conceptual ideas to assist CCFP in the implementation of several small projects stemming from CCFP’s The Next Century Conservation Plan.
